Vidyasthali Kanar Inter College is a co-educational, English Medium school situated on Hardoi Road, in Malihabad, 32 kilometres away from Lucknow,. It was established in 2005 by Study Hall Educational Foundation, with the goal of providing affordable but high quality education to rural children. It started with 84 children from nearby villages but quickly rose to cover 55 villages in a 25 km radius. In 2011, Mr. Chandru Kewalramani and the Kewal Ramani Foundation recognised efforts of SHEF and has been generously supporting it financially. The school runs classes from Pre-school to Class 12 and is affiliated to the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Board for High School & Intermediate. A dedicated faculty of 27 teachers provide quality education to almost 500 students in Science, Humanities and the Commerce streams.
